King of the Mat – Open Division Points for Team Nebraska
Just a quick update from King of the Mat Tournament: Tour of Nebraska points will be awarded to Open division wrestling ONLY.
If you need to change from Novice to Open in in order to qualify, you may do so by E-mailing Jeff at: jniemiec69@yahoo.com or make the change at weigh ins BEFORE 9pm on Friday. Once brackets are made on Saturday, they will not be changed.

1. KING OF THE MAT TOURNAMENT
- The MWC King of the Mat Tournament is this Sunday, January 29. Our marketing is located here:

2. REGISTERING YOUR WRESTLER(S)
- Registration ends TONIGHT, January 25, at 10PM
- The tournament is free to MWC wrestlers.

- Please contact us if you have any questions or problems with the registration process. Make sure that you click all the way through the process to complete registration.
- Only half/55 MWC wrestlers have signed up.
3. VOLUNTEERING
- Thank you to the folks who have signed up to volunteer for jobs at the KOM.
- Of the 412 volunteer hours that are required to be filled, less than half remain to be signed up for and fulfilled. We are keeping track of volunteer hours per family to insure accountability and workload.
- One in ten parents have signed up for over four hours. THANK YOU!
- If you have not signed up for volunteering, please go to the facility tonight or tomorrow and sign up for the remaining positions.
- Open positions include:
a. awards table 10am-2pm (1 needed) and 2pm-end of tourney (4 needed)
b. admissions 7:30-11:30 (1 needed)
c. concession stand 11:30-end of tourney (3 needed)
4. SCORING TABLES CLINIC ON THURSDAY NIGHT
- For those of you who are working the scoring tables, we are holding a mandatory clinic. The clinic will last no longer than 30 minutes.
5. LEND ICE CREAM BUCKETS, EXTENSION CORDS, ROASTERS?
- If you have one or some of these items, thanks for lending to MWC for use at the tournament. Please drop your item(s) off at the facility by Thursday evening.
